Are you ready to lead the planning, design, development, and execution of innovative solutions for security, service delivery, and data center management? As a Systems Engineer IV at Spectrum, you can drive the adoption of best-in-class practices across a complex back-office environment, focusing on business tasks, deployment, incident management, and more. In this role, you will design operational playbooks, implement platform enhancements, and lead the integration of application and data center architectures. You will also take charge of staff development, ensuring your team\'s growth and success.

WHAT OUR SYSTEMS ENGINEERS ENJOY THE MOST

• Design, deploy, manage, and ensure stability of the application and platform ecosystem and related back-office infrastructure and data centers to provide network security, high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability to effectively and efficiently support mission critical business systems.
• Responsible for all engineering activities and programming related to video services, including channel additions, removals, rebrands, SID changes, and Digital Program Insertion (DPI).
• Maintain a strong understanding of the video control plane and associated encryption systems, support components such as the Enterprise Controllers (DAC, EC), Network Encryptors (NEs), RADDs, Out-of-band Modulators (OMs), Anycast, SVOM and MAS.
• Ensure accurate implementation of configuration changes and updates across systems to maintain service quality and compliance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve video delivery and encryption issues.
• Demonstrate a high level of competence in IT operations, application monitoring, deployment and configuration management, availability and performance optimization, capacity management and forecasting, cloud computing, datacenter operations troubleshooting critical issues, and coordination of implementation.
• Represent the Engineering Department when working with Architects and Engineers in designing, modeling, and implementing new technologies.
• Become a trusted partner of our engineering team through the delivery of excellent customer service and knowledge that will allow our business to grow.
• Troubleshoots and resolves major APO and system issues.
• Assist and lead efforts for design, redesign, and operational efficiencies as business objectives and strategies evolve.
• Document project requirements including scope, costs, schedule, testing and terms of delivery to ensure the project is completed with the highest level of quality on time and within budget.
• Mentor and train other Engineering personnel in key elements of networking systems and provide technical presentations to instruct co-workers and other production services support individuals.
• Research and identify technology opportunities and their application to the business.
• Test and validate all new hardware and software for proper configuration and performance.

The base pay for this position generally is between $88,330.00 and $156,530.00 . The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
