Job Title : Logistics Analyst

Location : North Chicago, Lake County, IL – Onsite – local candidates only

Period : 09 / 16 / 2024 to 08 / 11 / 2025 – potential for extension

Hours / Week : 40 hours (Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half)

Rate : $25 – $30 / hr

Contract Type : W2 only

Scope of Services :

The Logistics Analyst will support the ADD Logistics team with the scheduling, monitoring, and tracking of inbound / outbound shipments from the Lake County Distribution Team. Responsibilities include coordinating the transfer of inventory to / from 3PL (third-party logistics) warehouses to the Lake County Distribution Center, monitoring inventory levels to ensure proactive coordination of materials, and managing the trailer / container yard to ensure adequate space. Additionally, the role will involve supporting various logistics-related projects as needed.

Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables :

• Schedule, monitor, and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery.
• Coordinate the transfer of inventory between the 3PL warehouse and the Lake County Distribution Center.
• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
• Manage the trailer and container yard to ensure efficient use of space and resources.
• Support various logistics-related projects, providing analysis and insights to improve logistics operations.
