Job Description : This Cleared Senior Cloud Engineer role is responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. They oversee cloud deployments, troubleshoot issues, implement automation, and monitor resources to optimize performance and efficiency. This role requires expertise in cloud platforms, primarily Azure, along with networking, security, and scripting skills. This role will utilize a wide array of Fed Ramp Government cloud services and a modern codebase, built on leading-edge technologies.

Occasional scheduled tasks will occur outside of normal working hours. Emergency availability may be required in rare circumstances.

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience with cloud technologies including Azure and hybrid cloud architectures
• Technical understanding of cloud architectures and providers
• Ability to leverage the newest cloud features to continuously monitor and secure solutions, and to continuously build and deploy for each environment
• Experience configuring and securing systems according to DoD STIGs
• Excellent understanding of SaaS, PaaS, IaaS for cloud computing models
• Experience with configuration, administration, and troubleshooting of Linux and Windows servers
• Experience managing Java web application servers such as JBoss or Tomcat
• Experience using infrastructure tools like Ansible or Terraform
• Ability to create, test, troubleshoot, and maintain custom scripts (e.g., Bash, Python, Groovy, etc.) for administration and configuration of Cloud resources
• Experience building monitoring dashboards and creating alerts from logs
• Working knowledge of continuous integration and delivery tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Artifactory) and processes
• Knowledge and demonstrated experience working with Agile methodology and tools (e.g., Jira / Confluence)
• Experience presenting, briefing, or communicating analytical material to key project stakeholders
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
• Able to work with small teams, able to work independently, and self-motivated
• Effective oral and written communication skills
