As a Registered Nurse in our Acute Care unit with a focus on Orthopedic Spine, you will provide comprehensive clinical direction for patients in an inpatient setting. Your expertise will help foster patient and family-centered care as you demonstrate clinical competency through evidence-based practices across the nursing process, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. You will incorporate safety protocols, cost containment, and quality improvement into your daily work, while maintaining a strong foundation in compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. - Conduct comprehensive assessments by collecting pertinent data and identifying changes in patient status. Document and validate nursing priorities with the healthcare team.\n
- Collaborate with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized care plans tailored to individual needs.\n
- Update care plans as necessary in response to changes in patient condition, ensuring all team members are informed.\n
- Respect and integrate patients' cultural, spiritual, and belief systems into care planning.\n
- Facilitate smooth discharge planning to ensure continuity of care post-hospitalization.\n
- Provide high-quality direct care aligned with established nursing plans while adhering to organizational policies.\n
- Delegate appropriate nursing tasks to team members and monitor task completion.\n
- Continuously monitor and evaluate the quality of care being delivered, adapting practices to meet the highest standards.\n
- Maintain a safe patient environment by following safety procedures and protocols.\n
- Use performance indicators to collect and evaluate data regarding nursing care quality and effectiveness.\n
- Participate in performance improvement activities aimed at enhancing care delivery.\n
- Educate patients and families based on their assessed learning needs and ensure their engagement in the care process.\n
- Uphold professional nursing standards and maintain competency through ongoing education and accountability.\n
- Advocate for patients and coordinate care collaboratively with the healthcare team.\n

- Education : Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred).\n
- Experience : A minimum of one year of experience as a registered nurse.\n\nIn Lieu Of\n
- Successful completion of the Prisma Health Nurse Residency Program or an equivalent residency program may substitute for one year of RN experience.\n
- One year of LPN experience may qualify internal candidates in the same service line.\n
- A nursing diploma alongside RN licensure will be accepted in lieu of an Associate Degree.\n\nRequired Certifications, Registrations, Licenses\n
