Job Title : BSM Analyst (Balance Sheet Management)

About the Role

We are partnering with our client, a leading financial services firm, to hire a BSM Analyst to join their Corporate Treasury team. This individual will play a key role in analyzing and managing the firm’s balance sheet, supporting funding and liquidity strategy, and contributing to overall asset and liability optimization.

The ideal candidate will bring strong financial modeling, analytical, and reporting skills, along with a solid understanding of treasury and balance sheet management principles.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain detailed financial models and forecasts for the firm’s balance sheet, including liquidity, capital, and net interest income (NII).

Monitor and analyze asset and liability trends, providing insights on drivers and potential risks or opportunities.

Support monthly and quarterly balance sheet reporting, stress testing, and scenario analysis.

Collaborate cross-functionally with Treasury, Risk, Finance, and Business units to ensure accurate and aligned data and assumptions.

Prepare management information and reporting materials for leadership and regulatory requirements.

Recommend process improvements to enhance forecasting accuracy, data integrity, and operational efficiency.

Qualifications & Skills

Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field.

2–5 years of experience in balance sheet management, ALM, treasury, financial analysis, or corporate finance.

Strong analytical skills with advanced Excel proficiency (macros, pivot tables, scenario modeling).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present financial insights to leadership.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.

Experience with ALM or treasury systems a plus.
