Staff Software Developer

Overview

Staff Software Developer to join our high-performing software development team and help cultivate an inclusive environment where the team can do their best work. You will collaborate on enhancing one of our cloud-based point-of-sale products.

You will be supporting Lightspeed's Hospitality product group on the mission to expand our reach into new markets and countries while enhancing our Cloud POS. You will join our global team of developers to use cutting edge technologies to help restaurant owners provide the best experience to their customers. If you're a technical leader with hands-on experience, a track record of mentoring, and a reputation for delivering great software, you might be a perfect fit. We're looking for someone who enjoys problem-solving, pragmatism, and collaboration to build products that solve real-world problems globally. Your hands-on approach and curiosity will help drive the team's success.

Smooth communication and collaboration with Product, Development, and SRE teams worldwide will be key to the team\'s success. What you'll be responsible for

• Creating, extending, and maintaining critical systems across a number of products in collaboration with the existing team
• Developing clean and highly maintainable code
• Engaging with our Product Managers, Architects, Developers, and other stakeholders to define unambiguous, pragmatic solutions
• Engaging during incidents with a sense of responsibility to our customers and your team
