Long Island Analytical Laboratories is looking for an entry level Laboratory Technician capable of complying with NYSDOH certified laboratory analyses. Applicants must be able and willing to prepare, extract, analyze and quantitate results for environmental samples. Knowledge of laboratory instrumentation such as distillation, titration, and separatory funnel extraction, etc. is a plus, but not required. Applicants will be expected to multi-task across several different analytical procedures and provide accurate results in a quick and efficient manner. Hours are from 9 : 00 am to 5 : 30 pm Monday through Friday, as well as about two hours over the weekend. Salary will depend upon education and prior laboratory experience.
