Penick Village is looking to hire an organized and highly detail-oriented individual to be part of our accounting team in the position of Staff Accountant . The Staff Accountant will perform a supporting role in the accounting department's activities and will report to the CFO while collaborating with other members of the accounting team.
Job Duties and Responsibilities :
Responsible for accurately and timely maintaining Resident Trust, Capital Expenditures and other special projects as assigned. Assist Director of Finance with month-end financial statement reporting.
Educational Requirements and Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in accounting and minimum 2 years working experience
Knowledge of Accounting terminology and principals.
Knowledge and skill in the use of computers and office machines.
Experience in General Ledger, A / R and A / P accounting functions.
Demonstrate working knowledge of Excel and Word
