About The Position

Job Title : PACU RN

Profession : Registered Nurse

Specialty : Post Anesthesia Care Unit

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Rotating shifts

Hours per Shift : 12 hours

Experience : Two years preferred

License : RN License (New York)

Certifications : BLS (American Heart Association), ACLS (American Heart Association)

Must-Have : PACU experience required, ICU experience preferred

Description :

Responsible for recovering post-operative adult patients.

Enjoy working as part of a team in a fast-paced nursing environment.

Work with a wide variety of post-operative patients.

Experience high volume and acuity in a critical care setting.

Maintain positive attitudes and direct communication as the unit standard.

Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently.

ACLS and BLS certifications are required.

Direct experience in PACU is necessary, and ICU experience is preferred.
