Coming Soon! The Duprey Service Company is excited to be opening the New Double Tree by Hilton in downtown Concord. Are you passionate about the Hospitality industry and looking to create a great guest experience? Then join our team as we launch our new hotel.
The Double Tree is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team a few nights a week as a Night Auditor. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the overnight operations of our hotel, including balancing accounts, processing transactions, and ensuring guest satisfaction. If you’re a night owl with a strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills, we want you on our team!
Job Summary
The Night Auditor is responsible for performing in a pleasant, professional and efficient manner, a combination of duties not limited to, performing the hotel’s nightly audit, answering telephones and assisting with guest services.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Provide professional and courteous guest service at all times
- Answer telephone calls courteously and efficiently
- Register and assign room(s) to guests
- Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining, entertainment and travel directions
- Compute bills, receive payments and make change for guests
- Prepare accurate Daily Report
- Post ancillary charges to guest folios (food, liquor, room, telephone)
- Promote any current hotel and franchise marketing programs
- Communicate with the next shift and informs ops manager / gm / maintenance about any overnight incidents
- Ability to work well with a diverse group of people
Additional Duties
Transmit and receive messages through telephone, facsimile, and switchboardMake, confirm, cancel, and change guest reservationsKeep records of room availability and guest’s accountsMaintain wake-up call serviceMake restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations for guestsMaintain clean and neat work and storage spaceAct as MOD during shift as assignedAttend monthly department meetingsActively seeks out other tasks when current work is completeComplete projects as determined by Front Office Supervisor, Ops Manager and / or GMParticipate in ongoing education and trainingOther duties as assignedRequirements :

Education or Experience - High school diploma or GED equivalent; three to six months of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Language Skills- Must have developed language skills to the point to be able to : read and understand instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Write routine reports and correspondence with proper format, punctuation, spelling and grammar, using all parts of speech. Speak with poise, professionalism and confidence.Mathematical Skills - Requires mathematical development sufficient to be able to : add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units or measure, using whole numbers, fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute ratio, rate, and percent. Possesses sharp ability for attention to detail (able to quickly identify variances in standards), working efficiently, and flexibly. Ability to multi-task and be highly organized whileReasoning Ability - Must have developed reasoning skills to be able to : solve practical problems and deal with variety of situations where limited standardization exists.
