Summary :

As a Senior Flight Registered Nurse, you will provide vital care to critically ill and injured patients in the challenging air medical environment. This role requires a high degree of independence and collaboration with healthcare and public safety professionals during intense situations. You will also engage in subject matter management and independent projects aimed at enhancing Flight For Life operations. Your coordination with transport crews is essential, following the established policies and regulations set forth by Flight For Life Administration and contracted aviation services.

Responsibilities :

• Exhibit proficiency in critical care and emergency nursing skills with minimal supervision.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care needs while adhering to medical guidelines.
• Maintain aircraft safety throughout all flights.
• Utilize exceptional verbal and written communication skills to coordinate patient care with multidisciplinary teams and other healthcare agencies.
• Act as a resource to the community and collaborate across disciplines.
• Engage in in-service programs and fulfill departmental and accreditation continuing education requirements.
• Commit to the requirements of the Transitional Flight For Life Nurse program, embracing critical care education and nursing experience.
