Job descriptionProvide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the transportation facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Observe and report any unusual or suspicious activity within the location. Assist with access control by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site procedures. Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal management. Complete required reports and documentation in a timely and accurate manner. Support emergency response efforts as directed by site protocols and Allied Universal guidelines. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Security Officer - Airline Terminal
As a Security Officer in Queens, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Transportation, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal in a transportation-focused location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. Your presence and attention to detail will help create a welcoming atmosphere for all visitors and staff. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
