About The Position

Specialty : Interventional Cardiology

Hospital Location : Paducah, KY

Reason for opening : Scheduling Need

Dates :   Start January or February

Availability : 3-7 days per month

Hours : 24 hour on-call shifts (7am - 7am)

Job Details :

Practice Setting : Inpatient / EMTALA Call

Average Number of Clinic Patients Per Day :   No ambulatory work

Number of Interventional Cardiologists in Group :   2

Will Other Interventional Cardiologists be Present During our Locum's Coverage? Yes

Patient Age Demographic : Adult patient population

Documentation System / EMR :   Epic Cupid

Required Procedures :

Balloon Angioplasties

Coronary Angioplasty

Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI)

Heart Catheterization

Coronary Angiograms

General Cardiology Responsibilities :

Expected to respond to ALL cardiology calls for the hospital

General Cardiology consults as needed

Reading Studies to include EKG, ECHOS, and Stress tests (including nuclear stress)

License : KY and DEA (will consider IMLC if provider will commit to 3-7 days per month)
