Infusion Nurse

Position Title : Registered Nurse – Outpatient Infusion Clinic

Employment Type : Contract / Local Accepted

Shift : Day 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30) & Day 4x10-Hour (09 : 00 - 19 : 30)

Requirements

• Experience : Minimum 1 year of experience in Outpatient Infusion or Oncology setting
• First-time travelers welcome
• Certifications :
• Required : BLS, Chemo (ONS / ONCC)
• Preferred : Biotherapy certification
• Skills :
• Administration of Chemotherapy (IV push, oral, and continuous infusion)
• Monitoring and symptom management (nausea / vomiting, edema, altered mental status, constipation / diarrhea, dysphagia, neuropathy, etc.)
• Central line / implanted line care and blood draws
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Patient and family education / support
• EPIC charting proficiency
