About The Position

Must-Have : Telemetry competency required, previous charge experience preferred, community hospital experience preferred

Description :

The position requires a Registered Nurse in the Medical / Surgical / Telemetry specialty.

The nurse will work three 12-hour night shifts per week from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 30 AM.

Staffing ratios will be 1 nurse to 6-7 patients.

Every other weekend coverage is required.

Floating within scope to meet facility needs may be necessary.

Two years of experience is preferred, though first-time travelers are accepted.

A SC license or a Compact license is required prior to starting.

Certifications in BLS and ACLS are required, with NIH certification preferred.

Experience in community hospitals and previous charge experience is a plus.

The facility operates as an acute care hospital with a total of 286 staffed beds.

The average daily census is 36 patients.

Core patient demographics include adults and geriatrics presenting various medical conditions.

Nurses are expected to perform assessments, manage telemetric monitoring, administer medications, and provide care in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.

During hurricane season, all staff may be required to participate in emergency response teams.

Candidates are encouraged to ensure their availability aligns with the operational needs of the facility.

All requests for time off must be provided at the time of submission.

RTO after submission will not be accepted.

Submissions cannot be made for multiple positions simultaneously.

Travelers must be aware of all compliance requirements and prepare documents accordingly prior to the proposed start date.
