Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough title examinations and prepare title opinions for oil and gas transactions.
• Provide legal advice on acquisitions, divestitures, and joint ventures.
• Negotiate, draft, and review contracts related to oil and gas transactions.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
• Handle any litigation or dispute resolution related to oil and gas matters.
• Collaborate with the legal team to develop strategies and mitigate legal risks.
• Keep abreast of legislative and regulatory changes that may affect the company and its operations.
• Provide training to company staff on legal matters related to oil and gas.
