Mechanical Engineer – Design Project Manager

Are you looking for the right place to put your mechanical engineering expertise to work?

Do you have several years of Mechanical Design Engineering and looking to advance your career as an engineer? Synergy Consulting Engineers has an open job for someone with a passion for designing and analyzing building systems. If you have experience with equipment sizing, load calculations, and BIM in Revit, this could be the opportunity you've been looking for. The ideal engineer will be enthusiastic, teachable, and willing to collaborate.

  • Collaboration skills in working within a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, ability to manage several projects at the same time, and timeliness in issuing reports
  • Knowledge in MEP systems design and testing, and ability to interpret schematic designs, building codes, and energy modeling,

What qualifies you?

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Architectural Design
  • Professional Engineer or on track for PE
  • 3+ years in Mechanical Design Engineering
  • Proficiency with equipment sizing and load calculations, Building Information Modeling (BIM) in Revit, interpretation of mechanical and plumbing drawings, equipment submittals / cutsheets & catalog data, systems design reviews, HVAC, and life safety systems
  • Proficiency in building codes, architectural and engineering design process, building systems installation, performance and maintenance industry standards, and scheduling.
