As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiovascular Surgical Intensive Care Unit (CSICU), you will be integral to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care. Collaborating with medical providers and the care team, you will ensure compassionate and individualized care using established nursing models such as Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage. You will be an advocate for patients and their families, upholding our vision and values to enhance patient experiences and outcomes.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Administering care as ordered by medical providers and accurately documenting all procedures in the patient medical record.
• Educating patients, families, and caregivers on medical conditions, treatment plans, and follow-up care, simplifying complex information for clear understanding.
• Promoting healthy lifestyle changes and disease prevention strategies while preparing patients and families for effective self-management.
• Implementing evidence-based practices and striving for continuous improvement to exceed quality measures in patient care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to create, assess, and implement comprehensive treatment plans that support recovery.
