We are currently seeking dedicated  Licensed Professional Counselors (LPCs) and LPC-Associates  with a passion for treating  eating disorders  to join our growing virtual private practice as  1099 independent contractors . This is an excellent opportunity to work remotely, build a flexible caseload, and focus on high-quality clinical care while we handle marketing, referrals, billing, and administrative support. LPC-Associates will receive clinical supervision and mentorship from our Clinical Director.

Position Overview

In this role, you will provide  virtual therapy to clients across Texas  struggling with eating disorders, body image issues, and co-occurring mental health challenges. You’ll deliver evidence-based treatment and collaborate with clients, families, and other providers to support recovery and long-term wellness.

Key Responsibilities

Provide individual and / or group counseling focused on eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns.

Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.

Deliver evidence-based interventions (e.g., CBT, DBT, ACT, family-based approaches) tailored to client needs.

Collaborate with nutritionists, medical providers, and other professionals as part of a holistic care approach.

Maintain accurate, timely, HIPAA-compliant documentation.

Stay current on research and best practices in eating disorder treatment.

Participate in clinical supervision (for LPC-Associates) and case consultations as needed.

Qualifications

Master’s degree or higher in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

Active, unrestricted  LPC  license or  LPC-Associate  license in the state of Texas.

Experience providing therapy for eating disorders or a strong desire to specialize in this area.

Understanding of eating disorder pathology, treatment modalities, and co-occurring mental health issues.

Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Experience with telehealth preferred (training provided if needed).

Contract Details

Status :  1099 Independent Contractor

Compensation :  Per-session pay or revenue-split model (based on experience and caseload)

Schedule :  Flexible — you set your hours and availability

Contractor Responsibilities :  Maintain liability insurance, licensure, continuing education, and tax obligations
