Utility Worker

We pay weekly. You will earn $23.68 per hour base pay. You will be home every night. We observe Maine state holidays which means 13 paid days off - without using your own paid leave! This is complemented by generous personal leave time. Youll be making the world a better place. The work we do protects public health and improves the environment. Youll have good opportunities for overtime and advancement including getting paid to obtain water and wastewater licenses. We pay for 85% of your health insurance (including your family! Or well pay you a generous opt-out if you are covered by a comparable plan by your spouses employer). We pay 100% of your dental insurance. And we provide great retirement savings. Youll get lots of fresh air.

Youll drive a dump truck, a front end loader, a backhoe, vacuum truck, and other equipment. Youll be part of a skilled team that works together to maintain our water, stormwater and wastewater systems.

What qualifications do I need?

• Class B commercial drivers license
• High school diploma or high school equivalency certification
