Janitor @ Independence Corp

Job Objective : Maintain property and grounds accordance with acceptable standards of safety, cleanliness and appearance. Properties include building, grounds and equipment serving the building.

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience : Janitorial and maintenance expe rience preferred but not required

Physical Requirements : Include standing, walking, climbing, and kneeling for extended periods of time; lifting up to 50 pounds . Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals to perform the essential functions of this job.

Driving : Employee must possess a valid driver's license from the state in which you reside . Must be approved through The Salvation Army Fleet Safety Program to drive either a Salvation Army or personal vehicle on Salvation Army business.

Working Conditions : Work is performed in a typical office environment and some outdoor activities .
