Responsibilities :

As the Underground Network & Communications Technician, you'll be at the heart of supporting the network and communications systems that are vital for our operations. Working closely with the Underground Network and Communication Supervisor, your responsibilities will include :

• Maintenance & Repair : You will handle maintenance duties for underground and surface networks and communications equipment, including fiber optic networks, wireless systems, Cisco switches, radios, and radio controls.
• Project Support : Assist in developing and executing projects to enhance both short- and long-term mine plans.
• Team Collaboration : Work in a collaborative, team-oriented environment, maintaining a focus on safety, communication, and efficiency.

Nevada Gold Mines (NGM) is a joint venture between Barrick (61.5%) and Newmont (38.5%) that combined our significant assets across Nevada in 2019 to create the single largest gold-producing complex in the world.
