About the Position

AlliedTravelCareers is working with Acruex Health to find a qualified CT Tech in Craig, Colorado, 81625!

*** Permanent (Full Time) ***

Pay Rate: $56,326.00 to $84,489.00/yearly.

Summary: We are looking to employ a skilled CT technologist to operate our CT scanning equipment and capture diagnostic images that are of good technical quality. The CT Technologist’s responsibilities include taking inventory of radiologic supplies, ensuring that the radiologic equipment is in good working order, and adhering to established guidelines on hygiene and infection control. Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates advanced knowledge in radiographic procedures, including, but not limited to X-ray and Fluoroscopy, with C-arm, and OR work.
  • Performs all exams based on Imaging Department Protocols or protocols the exam with the Radiologist.
  • Practices radiation safety, adhering to ALARA standards.
  • Ability to operate equipment consistent with manufacturer’s recommendations.
  • Troubleshoots equipment problems and independently calls a service engineer if the malfunction needs outside maintenance.
  • Verifies exam orders, identifies the patient through two means of identification, and provides exam education.
  • Reviews and documents the patient’s medical history, obtains required informed consent, and ensures all necessary paperwork and prior studies are complete and available before submitting procedures for Radiologist interpretation.
  • Maintains accurate patient records in EHR, including charging for procedures and supplies.
  • May be required to perform other functions within the clinic. Any additional training required will be provided.
  • Demonstrates flexibility by assisting in other modalities, adjusting schedules, and taking call, overtime, or holiday shifts as needed.
  • Obtains additional training or certification as required.
  • Assists with clerical duties, phone reception, and patient transportation when required.
  • Assists, trains, or cross-trains imaging staff members as directed.
  • Must be self-motivated, use independent judgment, and be able to work with minimum supervision.
