Job Description
Base Pay : $16.00 per hour, $1.50 per hour shift differential
Shift : 10 : 00pm-6 : 30am Monday through Friday (Saturdays based on business need)
Duties And Responsibilities
The Production Associate is responsible for the fabrication and production of the component parts for the final assembly of windows. Successful candidates enjoy working in a fast-paced, physically demanding, and repetitive work environment, which includes heavy lifting or working with your hands. This job description is reflective of tasks that will be performed in a variety of departments.
- Operate hand tools as required and assemble, lift, pick and pack products
- Support and participate in employee engagement activities
- Follow defined clean-up times
- Work in a safe manner and follow safe work practices and policies
- Must follow and work to an established rate as defined by customer demand and standardized
- Participate in defining and improving standard work to improve quality windows for customers
- Identify problems; communicate issues
- Assist with training co-workers
- Support a respectful workplace
- Perform other duties across the plant as needed as directed by supervision or management
Qualifications
Dependability / punctuality & detail orientedAbility to read a tape measurer is requiredAbility to read / write in English is preferredBasic reading and math skills are preferredAbility to bend, squat, twist, push / pull, reach, and stand is requiredAbility to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waistAbility to work in hot & cold environment is requiredBe able to work extended hours and weekend based on business needs is requiredWilling & able to work various positions in various departments (cross-trained) is requiredPerform tasks requiring repetitive motion and stand for long periods is requiredAble to comply with all company policies and procedures, including all safety regulations is requiredAbility to follow supervisor's instructions / directions as given is requiredPossess the following skills : problem-solving, teamwork, communication, and initiativeAdditional Information
