We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse (Per Diem) who can deliver exceptional care in a fast-paced clinical environment. In this role, you'll practice independently, provide both routine and complex nursing care, and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure the best outcomes for patients. Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care following the ANA Scope and Standards of Practice , including patient assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation. Administer medications and treatments per established protocols, monitoring for side effects and patient response. Accurately document patient history, symptoms, medications, and care provided. Address patients' psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs with empathy and professionalism. Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, discharge instructions, and available support resources. Delegate and assign tasks appropriately to other healthcare providers to ensure effective workflow and patient safety. Demonstrate leadership competencies in self-management, teamwork, and patient advocacy. Qualifications Education & Skills : Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred Licenses & Certifications : Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment or compact state Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required (AHA or Red Cross accepted at time of hire) Depending on the specialty area, the following certifications may be required within specified time frames : Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) : within 30 days (experienced) / 90 days (new) Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) : within 30 days (experienced) / 90 days (new) Trauma Nurse Core Curriculum (TNCC) : within 60 days (experienced) / 18 months (new) Trauma Care After Resuscitation (TCAR) : within 60 days (experienced) / 18 months (new) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) : within 30 days (experienced) / 60 days (new) AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM) : within 30 days (experienced) / 60 days (new) STABLE Neonatal Education : within 30 days (experienced) / 60 days (new) Work Schedule / Type Schedule : TBD (Per Diem / As Needed) Type : Per Diem Apply Now
