Responsibilities
- Lead a skilled and motivated team in advancing current technologies, developing new processes, and implementing new technologies in a 24 / 7 manufacturing operation producing critical components used in the assembly of innovative lighting technologies
- Responsible for transferring new products from the R&D phase to the production floor through structured industrialization and new product introduction methodologies
- Motivate and stimulate your team to meet technical challenges with innovative ideas and deliver to critical timelines
- Contribute to a safe and dynamic manufacturing environment
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional growth and development

Must have prior NPI Manufacturing and / or Process Development experienceSuperior organizational skills aimed at innovating, managing timelines, and delivering resultsDemonstrated expertise in a variety of manufacturing and assembly technologies and able to effectively implement said technologies with quality and cost in mindWorking knowledge of production methods for ceramic, glass, or polymer materials and coatings seen as a definite plusAbility to lead teams by establishing challenging expectations, developing individuals, establishing structured processes, and creating a culture of commitment and accountabilityStrong applied understanding of Design for Six Sigma principles; Formal Six Sigma training considered a definite plusExcellent interpersonal and collaboration skillsBachelor's degree in engineering (Materials, Polymers, Paints); Master's degree in Engineering Management, Technology Management, or Business Administration preferredams OSRAM is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
