Patient Population : Progressive Care / Med Surg (Comprehensive Stroke, Sepsis, Vasoactive Drips)

Patient Ratio : 1 : 4

Number of Beds : 32 beds

Department Specifics : >

90% BSN, National Nursing Certification preferred but not required; opportunity for BSWH to pay upfront for selected certifications, ACLS required and may complete post hire. Multi-Disciplinary Rounds for efficiency focusing on length of stay and readmission rate, Shared Governance promoted with Unit Based Council in place, Educational Opportunities including Leveling Up, Self-Scheduling, committed towards Patient Safety and Zero Harm culture, culture of teamwork, positive workplace environment, work-life balance, Unit Leadership open-door policy with visibility on the unit.

Baylor Scott & White - Plano is a is a full-service acute care hospital dedicated to providing quality healthcare to our community.  We are a not-for-profit hospital and have been caring for our community since 2004. We have 160 licensed beds and offer a broad range of services including oncology, digestive disease, weight loss surgery, back and neck, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pulmonology, neurology, neurosurgery, and interventional radiology.

Registered Nurse Requirements

Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program

License / Certification

RN – Registered Nurse

BLS – Basic Life Support (required within 30 days of hire)

Qualifications

• Grad of an Accredited Program
• Specialized field of study should be nursing.
• RN license.
• Must have BLS certification or get it within 30 days of starting in this role.
