Travel Nurse Job Details Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract Location : Galion, Ohio (44833) – Ohio healthcare jobs Unit : Med / Surg & Telemetry (MS / Tele, 608-02) Start Date : December 15, 2025 End Date : March 16, 2026 Duration : 13 weeks Shift : 3x12-hour day shifts (07 : 00 – 19 : 00) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1910-$1960 On-Call : Required (must be able to arrive within 1 hour if called in) Floating : Willingness to float to all campuses (Ontario, Bucyrus, Galion) Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Ohio or compact state RN license (no pending licenses) Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience BLS and ACLS certifications required Prior travel nursing experience required (no first-time travelers) Proficient in dysrhythmia interpretation, oxygen administration, peripheral line care, and rapid response / code team utilization Epic charting experience preferred Ability to work all scheduled shifts, including holidays (no holiday RTO) COVID-19 and Flu vaccines required (medical / religious exemptions considered) Smoke-free healthcare facility and campus Strong work history with two recent supervisory references Travel Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients in Med / Surg and Telemetry units Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions and treatment responses Interpret and manage dysrhythmias, administer oxygen therapy, and perform peripheral line care Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams for comprehensive patient care Float to other campuses as needed to meet patient care demands Respond promptly to rapid response and code situations Complete required orientation and pre-start modules via HealthStream Maintain compliance with all hospital policies and procedures Apply now to join our healthcare team and take the next step in your travel nursing career in Galion, Ohio!
