Asset Protection Specialist, Ecommerce at The RealReal. Our Authentication Centers (warehouses) are located in New Jersey and Arizona, where we process, authenticate, and photograph consigned goods for listing on our website. The role involves assisting with all aspects of loss prevention, investigations, physical security, and safety within the Authentication Center. What You Get To Do Everyday

• This position is the first point of contact between Asset Protection and all TRR employees; strong customer service skills and a friendly, professional attitude are essential.
• Service the main entrance most of the time and assist with securing the building.
• Support a multi-purpose function including building security, shortage control, auditing, conflict resolution, inventory, and other duties as assigned by the Asset Protection Leadership team.
• Assist with daily video reviews, high-value investigations, and various special projects in support of the Asset Protection and Operations Team.
• Conduct multiple daily, weekly, and monthly Authentication Center audits to ensure shortage control, safety, and adherence to Asset Protection policies and procedures.
• Support off-site functions such as photo shoots, private showings, events, etc. Event schedules may occur during or outside regular business hours.
• Ability to sit / stand for extended periods and communicate security protocols (e.g., bag checks, badge enforcement, metal detector / wanding, parking lot control, merchandise check-in / out procedures).
• Handle and identify security / safety-related issues; build strong partnerships with all levels of leadership in the Authentication Center.
• Full flex open availability with the expectation of working evenings and weekends as needed; overtime may be required to meet business needs.

The expected hourly rate for this role is $18.50-$19. To determine starting pay we consider factors such as location, skills, experience, market demands, and internal parity. Salary is one component of TRR's total rewards package; eligibility for bonuses, incentive pay, and benefits may apply depending on role.
