Food Services Manager

Sodexo is seeking a Food Services Manager for Newport Hospital, a 106-bed facility and part of the Brown University Health system. You will be part of the leadership team overseeing a team of approximately 8 hospital employees serving patient meals and supporting cafeteria retail. The schedule for this role will be 10 : 30 am - 7 : 00 pm, including rotational weekend coverage every other weekend. Sodexo offers a range of services to healthcare facilities, including food, nutrition, environmental, facilities management, healthcare technology management, retail, and patient experience services. Employees at our healthcare sites play a crucial role in enhancing patient experience and well-being.

What You'll Do :

• Manage all daily food operations through hourly and supervisory frontline associates.
• Maintain food and health & safety logs within Sodexo and hospital guidelines and requirements.
• Ensure trainings remain up to date for all hourly associates, for both Sodexo and hospital related trainings.
• Effectively mentor and develop the food services team.
• Implement innovative and fresh ideas in retail, catering and patient services.
• Cultivate effective interpersonal relationships with patients, customers, and clients in hospital.
