What You'll Do

• Respond to inquiries from new and established customers, process requests for quotes, enter and manage orders, and collaborate with functional areas to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Manage quote requests and analyze sales data.
• Handle customer requests via phone, email, fax, and other electronic communications.
• Review and interpret customer specifications, applications, and terms and conditions with engineering or marketing assistance.
• Provide pricing and product availability for quotes in a timely fashion (typically within 24 hours).
• Acknowledge and process orders within 48 hours.
• Continuously develop product knowledge through internal and / or external trainings.
• Process customer returns and claims promptly and initiate corrective actions if needed.
• Participate in cross-functional projects impacting the department and the organization.
• Interface with Shipping, Scheduling, Quality, Manufacturing, Credit, Finance, Engineering, and Product Management to meet customer needs and ensure timely delivery and accurate receipt of products.
• Provide backup coverage for other teams as required.
• Be the voice of the customer to the Prysmian organization.
