As a Radio Frequency Test Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of tactical data link (TDL) technology advancement, working in a dynamic environment that bridges the gap between breakthrough research and rapid battlefield deployment. Our mission-critical work accelerates the journey from laboratory discovery to operational capability, ensuring warfighters have access to the most advanced communication technologies available.

You'll collaborate with an elite network of institutions, academia, and industry pioneers to evaluate and validate emerging technologies across the full spectrum of readiness levels, from initial Technology Readiness Level (TRL) assessments through Integration and System Readiness Level evaluations. Your expertise will be instrumental in determining how promising innovations can be seamlessly incorporated into software-defined radios (SDRs), while maintaining the highest standards for platform compatibility. You Have

• 3+ years of experience conducting testing and evaluation of satellite or radio systems to assess software implementations in a lab environment for a DoD project
• 3+ years of experience developing test procedures to assess software implementation of waveforms for a DoD project
• Experience performing waveform characterization for tactical communication systems
• Experience conducting tactical radio testing and troubleshooting
• Experience executing modern tactical radio verification testing
• Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Applied Science, Computing, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or Management Information Systems

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $61,900.00 to $141,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
