Responsibilities
Be the Heart of a Thriving Community. You will work closely with the Community Manager to lead day-to-day operations at one of our garden-style communities, serving as the go-to person for residents and helping keep the office running smoothly.
Resident & Office Operations
- Support all aspects of resident relations—from onboarding to move-out
- Respond to resident concerns and follow up on service requests
- Lead a smooth and welcoming move-in process with strong attention to detail
- Manage the leasing office : order supplies, support the leasing team, and assist with marketing
Billing & Financials
Oversee resident billing and ledger accuracyFollow up on delinquencies, process legal notices, and manage collectionsAssist with budget tracking, reporting, and invoice processingProcess write-offs, evictions, and financial documentation in line with policyTeam & Leasing Support
Partner with the Community Manager to onboard and support leasing team membersJump in to assist with tours or leasing tasks when neededHelp manage community promotions and local business partnershipsShare ideas to boost performance and improve systemsCompliance & Reporting
Stay current on local, state, and federal housing lawsTrack lease violations and handle resident documentationEnsure accuracy in all resident files and system recordsSupport audit readiness and assist with affordable housing compliance (if applicable)Qualifications
Compensation : 18.50 - 21.50 / hour

2+ years of experience in property management or as an Assistant Community ManagerStrong knowledge of landlord / tenant laws and property regulationsExcellent customer service and communication skillsHigh attention to detail, especially with billing and reportingProficient in property management software (Yardi, OneSite, or similar)Strong time management and the ability to juggle competing prioritiesA team mindset and a solutions-first attitudeHigh school diploma or equivalent required; additional education a plusReady to Grow?
