Position : OR RN

Location : Aspirus Ironwood Hospital – Ironwood, MI

Contract Length : 13 weeks

Start Date : ASAP

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hrs / week

Shift : 4x10s

Variable start times (typically 07 : 00–17 : 30)

Possible starts as early as 06 : 30 or as late as 08 : 00–09 : 00 depending on cases

Float : None

Call Requirements :

1–2 call shifts per week (end of shift → 07 : 00 next day)

Occasional weekend call (Fri–Mon 07 : 00)

Holiday call required; no holiday shifts

Certifications : BLS (AHA or ARC)

ACLS (AHA or ARC)

MI RN License

Education : ADN or BSN

Experience :

2+ years OR experience

Strong circulating required

Pre- and post-op required

PACU experience preferred

Charting : Epic

Unit Details :

3 ORs + 1 endoscopy room

Required Skills / Common Cases :

Ortho : Total knees / hips / shoulders, ORIFs, hip fractures, I&Ds

General : Lap appy, lap chole, hernia, EGD / colonoscopy, lesion removals, lumpectomy, hemorrhoidectomy

OB / GYN : Hysteroscopy, hysterectomy, lap salpingectomy

Eyes : Cataracts

Podiatry : Bunionectomy

Urology : Cystoscopy with stent, TURP
