Responsibilities
- Provide necessary mechanical support and related information to Customer Service personnel- Applications, Engineering, Sales, Customer support, and Parts
- Support installation of CUS projects at the customer site
- Maintain confidentiality while addressing diverse responsibilities across multiple customer sites.
- Responsible to respond to customers in less than 24 hours for normal requests and within 1 hour for down type situations.
- Receive parts from Logistics in order to assemble machinery following standard procedure
- Accurate mechanical build and installation of stations per design
- Alignment of the machine and conveyor circuit
- Wiring and plumbing of the machine per company's standards
- Pre-align stations with calibration
- Final alignment and fine tuning of station
- Brainstorm potential mechanical changes with the engineering team
- Install and change mechanical cams
- Run machine during debug
- Install safety guarding
- Other duties as assigned by the Customer Service Mechanical Technician Supervisor or the Customer Service Manager
Qualifications
Minimum of 1-2 years of Mechanical Technician or equivalent experienceWilling and able to travel 75% of the year with overtime of 50%, including travel with little to no noticePrototype machine assembly experience with pneumaticsAbility to read, interpret and work from engineering drawings and sketchesComputer Aided Design experienceAbility to make sound decisions working independently or working within a teamAbility to function in a fast-paced work environmentAdditional Requirements
