Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1 year of recent acute care experience, BLS and CNMT certification, and Epic proficiency for a day shift assignment.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine department
  • Care for a diverse patient population including pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics
  • Shifts are 5x8 hour days from 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM
  • On-call required every other weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 6 : 30 AM to 3 : 00 PM
  • Floating for on-call shifts may be required between affiliated sites
  • Epic EMR system use is required
  • Responsible for the handling, storage, and disposal of radioactive materials
  • Must complete department modules during orientation and annually
  • Return staff must have a 1-year break in service before being eligible
  • Fingerprinting required for pediatric and behavioral health assignments in Ohio
  • Day and on-call weekend shifts may involve floating to affiliated locations
  • Travel pairs are accepted with restrictions if related

  • Current BLS and CNMT certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience in nuclear medicine
  • Proficiency in starting and maintaining IVs, and safe handling of radioactive materials
  • Epic charting experience required
  • License required if applicable
  • Must provide two professional references from within the last 24 months
  • Applicants must be located outside a 50 mile radius; local candidates are not accepted
