Behavioral Health Therapist (LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC)
Schedule : Full-Time | Mon–Fri, 8 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM | No weekends
Overview :
Join a collaborative behavioral health team providing therapeutic services for patients in a mental health and / or substance abuse treatment setting. This role focuses on psychosocial assessments, individualized treatment planning, counseling, documentation, and discharge coordination.
Key Responsibilities :
- Conduct psychosocial assessments to identify treatment needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Facilitate group, individual, and family therapy sessions
- Participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning and family / support meetings
- Coordinate discharge planning using internal and external resources
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in accordance with legal and clinical standards
- Attend court hearings and report to state / community agencies when required
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to patient case discussions
- Float to alternate units or locations based on census / staffing needs
Required Qualifications :
Licensure : Active Illinois license (LSW, LCSW, LPC, or LCPC)Education : Master’s degree in Social Work or related mental health fieldExperience : Minimum 1 year in a behavioral health setting (2+ years preferred)Certifications : CPR (AHA or Red Cross); CPI within 90 days of hireRequired Skills :
