Job Title : Special Education Teacher (SPED – LBS1 Certified)

Location : Beardstown, IL 62618

Pay Rate : $85 / hour before taxes and benefits

Contract Length : 43 Weeks

Schedule : Monday – Friday, Full-Time (In-Person)

Start Date : 08 / 11 / 2025

Responsibilities :

Provide specialized instruction to students with various disabilities

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)

Collaborate with general education teachers, school staff, and families

Monitor and track student progress, adjusting instruction as needed

Ensure accurate and timely documentation in line with state and federal requirements

Requirements :

Valid Illinois LBS1 certification

Minimum of 1 year of experience working in special education (preferred)

Must be able to work on-site, Monday through Friday in Beardstown, IL
