Purpose of Position
The Partnerships Manager serves as the primary liaison between community and business partners and the university, connecting external inquiries and collaboration opportunities with the right departments.
This role manages workflows, timelines, and deliverables to ensure effective and timely engagement. The Manager also oversees partnership tracking through systems such as Raiser's Edge, Handshake, and Team Dynamix. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, tech-savvy, and skilled in organization and project management.
This is a temporary 24-month position.
Primary Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for external stakeholders seeking collaboration opportunities with the university. Manage the process including meeting facilitation, summarization and communication of outcomes to relevant stakeholders and tracking within appropriate university systems.
- Assess and route partnership inquiries to the appropriate university Spoke, departments or personnel. Track, monitor, and follow up on inquiries to ensure that they are addressed and progressed appropriately. Develop and maintain efficient processes and data management for tracking and managing external engagement activities
- Support strategic initiatives related to university-community-business engagement.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support engagement initiatives and improve external stakeholder experiences.
- Customer relationship management to implement strategies to improve customer engagement
- Working with the Executive Director and partners across campus, implement and execute the Hub's partnership model. Provide excellent customer service to ensure that objectives and timelines are met.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in business administration, communications, higher education administration, or related filed.Have exceptional customer service, relationship management, and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple projects, track progress, and ensure timely completion.Should be proficient in CRM and workflow systems such as Raiser's Edge, Handshake, and Team Dynamix, and demonstrate strong technological aptitude with the ability to learn new systems quickly.Will be proactive and results-driven, with strong problem-solving abilities and the organizational awareness needed to navigate complex institutions effectively.Minimum Education
