Salary Range : $248,000 – $279,000 / year + Equity + Benefits

Help Discord scale toward multi-billion-dollar revenue as a Staff Software Engineer on the Consumer Revenue team. You’ll shape the technical roadmap, drive monetization strategy, and collaborate across engineering, product, design, data science, and marketing. If you love owning big-picture initiatives while staying hands-on with code, this role hits the sweet spot.

This is a fully remote U.S.-based role—perfect for someone who wants to lead from anywhere.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Scale and optimize existing revenue streams , while building new monetization opportunities from the ground up.
• Lead the technical vision across cross-functional teams and high-impact projects.
• Own initiatives from idea to launch , ensuring a strong alignment between tech, product, and business.
• Collaborate with PMs, designers, engineers, analysts, and marketers to ship polished, revenue-generating features.
• Guide leadership on technical strategy to support Discord’s long-term growth.
