Duties :

Guide clients through estate planning options with clarity and care

Draft or review key legal documents, including wills, trusts, and powers of attorney

Collaborate with paralegals and support staff to maintain document accuracy and timeliness

Manage estate administration filings and ensure all necessary court submissions are complete

Conduct client meetings and respond to inquiries promptly and professionally

Participate in the planning and execution of real estate transfers within estate and trust structures

Support business clients with contracts, entity formation, and transactions

Engage with tax authorities on behalf of clients during controversy matters

Maintain internal deadlines, case records, and uphold service standards

Requirements :

Licensed to practice law in the State of North Carolina

Minimum of 3 years' legal experience in estate planning and administration

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Client-focused approach with attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and work effectively within a small team environment

Willingness to assist with related areas such as business law, tax, or real estate

Education :

Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school

Skills :

Legal drafting and document review

Client counseling and relationship building

Case management and workflow efficiency

Familiarity with estate, tax, and real estate legal frameworks

Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities
