A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a contract position within an elementary school setting in Madison, WV. This role supports students from preschool through fifth grade, providing specialized speech and language therapy services during the schools hybrid learning model. The position spans from October through May, offering part-time hours across 3 to 4 days per week.
Key Responsibilities :
- Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to elementary students (Pre-K to Grade 5).
- Collaborate with educators and staff to implement student-specific intervention plans.
- Monitor and document student progress in compliance with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in meetings with parents and multidisciplinary teams as necessary.
- Adapt therapy techniques to accommodate hybrid learning environments.
Qualifications :
Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.Valid state licensure and certification to practice as an SLP.Experience working with elementary-aged children in school settings.Ability to manage a caseload effectively while maintaining strong organizational skills.SLP Clinical Fellows (SLP-CF) may be considered.Flexibility to work 3-4 days weekly within the October to May timeframe.Location :
