The Paramount Theatre/Aurora Civic Center Authority (ACCA) is an innovative organization located on Stolp Island in the Fox River, heart of the diverse historic community of Aurora, Illinois, one hour from downtown Chicago. ACCA operates four performance venues: the 6,000‑person RiverEdge Park, the 1,843‑seat landmark Paramount Theatre, the 165‑seat newly renovated Copley Theatre, and the brand new 9,000‑square‑foot Stolp Island Theatre, which houses an intimate 98‑seat 4,600‑square‑foot theater. With over 500 performances a year—including star‑studded touring productions, a self‑produced Broadway Series of musical plays, and an intimate experience of “Million Dollar Quartet” for an annual audience of 350,000 patrons from more than 250 communities—ACCA also proudly operates the Paramount School of the Arts in the John C. Dunham Aurora Arts Center and hosts free community events, movie nights, and private functions such as wedding receptions and corporate galas.

In coordination with the Senior Marketing Director and Chief Marketing Officer, the Marketing Art Director will serve as the creative lead of ACCA’s in‑house graphic design team. The role works closely with marketing staff, graphic designers, web developers, photographers, videographers, internal clients, and outside contractors. The Marketing Art Director must have a passion for communicating visually, outstanding design skills, the ability to guide, evaluate and elevate design execution, strong management experience in creating and managing a team, and a collaborative attitude that shares Paramount’s artistic vision for a broad and inclusive audience.

In addition to the duties listed above, ACCA expects employees to adhere to ACCA’s policies and procedures, work safely, prioritize workload, demonstrate efficient time management, maintain regular and consistent attendance, communicate regularly with supervisors, and participate in ACCA events as needed. Employees must also complete other duties as assigned.
Salary: $75,000 - $80,000.

Full‑time exempt; some weekends and evenings; not a 9‑to‑5 job.
