Great guest relations are vital to Catamount. Our Retail Sales Clerks are one of the many team members that guests come in contact with and therefore, they must make a good initial impression. Our new Retail shop that sells all types of ski gear for all! The Clerk must accurately tender purchases at cash registers, provide change and maintain a balanced drawer in a friendly manner. The positions is primarily stationed in the Retail Sales Area and must routinely interact with customers in a polite and professional manner.

RESPONSILBILITIES

• Generate sales, demonstrate and maintain a professional standard of guest service.
• Monitor the store and ensure it is properly stocked and organized.
• Greet customers including answering phones and directing customer inquiries appropriately.
• Handle cash transactions between customer and retail store.
• Learn POS, product knowledge, resort knowledge, guest service, and sales generation.
• Process credit or debit card transactions and validate checks.
• Issue receipts and monetary change due to customers.
• Implement company cash handling policies and procedures.
• Ensure prompt, accurate reporting and cash reconciliations.
• Be energetic, motivated, and possess the ability to prioritize tasks and multi-task simultaneously
• Assist customers in selecting merchandise, processing sales, and addressing customer satisfaction.
• Keep the store clean, neat and organized.
• Closing of the retail location.
