As a Patrol Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and maintaining a visible presence at a government location. Your role involves monitoring assigned areas, responding to incidents, and providing outstanding customer service while upholding our core values of teamwork, integrity, and a people-first approach. What You'll Do :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and / or emergency response activities as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the assigned government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activities.

Monitor for and report any suspicious behavior, security-related hazards, or incidents in accordance with established protocols.

Interact with visitors, employees, and / or members of the public in a courteous and professional manner while enforcing access control procedures.

Prepare clear and concise written reports of daily activities, incidents, and / or unusual occurrences as required by Allied Universal and the site.

Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency personnel as directed during incidents or emergencies.

Minimum Requirements :

At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.

Handcuffing certification is preferred.

A guard card or license is preferred.

Baton certification is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
