JOB SUMMARY
Under the general direction of the Audit Director or the Senior Internal Auditor, conducts audits to evaluate financial, administrative and functional operations to ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, University policies and procedures, and sound business practices; identifies process improvements; makes formal recommendations based on findings and provides follow-up monitoring of the status of management's corrective actions. This position has access to a variety of confidential information, including information used in collective bargaining.

APPOINTMENT TERMS
These are two full-time, permanent positions. The hiring range for the Internal Auditor (University Staff Professional 1) is $80,000 to $95,000, final salary will be based on the successful candidate's background and experience. The Internal Auditor positions will support AMAS activities on all UConn and UConn Health campuses, one role with a primary work location on the Storrs campus and one role with a primary work location on the Farmington campus.
