We are seeking a skilled Receiving Specialist to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will bring prior experience in shipping and receiving—preferably with international logistics —along with strong organizational skills and hands-on experience operating material-handling equipment. Proficiency in computer applications ( Word, Excel, Outlook ) is essential for data entry, inventory management, and communication.
Overview :
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments from carriers and containers.
- Prepare, label, and process weekly outbound shipments, including those requiring international documentation.
- Maintain accurate inventory and shipping records using Excel and Word .
- Safely unload trucks and containers with forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand carts.
- Document and report damages or shortages; update inventory locations accordingly.
- Fulfill production material requests and process RMAs .
