Senior Business Project Manager
As Senior Business Project Manager you will take responsibility for the adherence to performance, budget, and time specifications as well as the independent management of complex ERP projects. You will act as the main contact point for the decision-making level, plan project scopes, analyze customer needs, and develop solution concepts in collaboration with the sales team to successfully implement project goals.
Your tasks include :
- Independent planning and execution of comprehensive ERP projects for new and existing customers
- Successful independent leadership of complex ERP projects with internal specialist leadership function and main contact point for decision-makers on the customer side
- Project planning and design of project scope in collaboration with the customer and the sales team
- Sales support : needs analysis with the customer and development of solution concepts together with the sales team (for offer preparation)
- Negotiation of the content and operational project components (content; schedule; effort)
- Selection of the project team from consultants from our German as well as our near- and offshore locations in Bulgaria and India
- Control and coordination of partners and service providers
- Building and maintaining a close and trusting relationship with the customer
- Development of project plans including effort calculation as well as time, function, and budget planning
- Coordination of the execution and implementation of complex project plans
- Operational and content-related management of the project course
- Responsible implementation of change / amendment management
- Quality assurance and risk analysis : monitoring and documentation of progress as well as possibly rolling optimization of project planning to ensure project goal achievement
- Close networking and knowledge exchange within the Abas PM Community
Your profile includes :
Study or training in the commercial / economic or information technology field, supplemented by solid knowledge and several years of experience in the management of IT, preferably ERP projectsIdeally knowledge from the field of production / manufacturingMethodical, solution-oriented and independent working styleGood abstracting ability and argumentative skills, especially in complex contextsGood German and English skills in speech and writingWillingness to develop and proactive learningFlexibility and enjoyment of teamworkOur benefits include :
