Job Description

An industry leading multi-disciplinary team is looking for a Transportation Engineer for their Columbus team!

Responsibilities :

Design / develop various types of roadway / highway improvement projects
Develop horizontal / vertical roadway / highway alignments, design modeling, and engineering calculations
Perform all aspects of roadway / highway design (drainage design, maintenance of traffic, pavement marking / striping and signing)
Prepare preliminary / detailed design plans, quantities, specifications, and construction cost estimates
Use technical expertise for the development, evaluation, selection, and modification of standards engineering techniques / procedures
Occasional client and sub-consultant communication
Site visits periodically
Assist with Request for Information during construction phase

Requirements :

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering

7+ years of experience

PE License in Ohio or ability to obtain within six months

Experience using AASHTO, ODOT Design Criteria, and FDOT Design Criteria

Proficient in AutoCAD / Civil 3D, Microstation, and Geopak

Experience using Open Roads preferred

Salary is commensurate with experience.
