We are currently seeking exceptional individuals for our Aircraft Maintenance team in Chicago, IL!

Duties and Responsibilities :

• Perform all aircraft maintenance activities in accordance with Flightchecks RSM, QCM, customers procedures, FARs, and all other applicable rules and regulations
• Accomplish job functions to the highest safety, quality, reliable, and efficient standards
• Complete aircraft maintenance work assignments to the highest standards to ensure aircraft airworthiness
• Able to read, interpret, and comply with all aircraft maintenance manuals and other maintenance documents to complete work assignments
• Must be customer service-oriented
• Ensure all company, customer, and regulatory documents are complete and accurate
• Properly use and operate support equipment in performance of assigned duties, i.e., servicing units, jacks, lifts, calibrated tooling, etc.
• Occasional travel
• Perform other duties as they are assigned

Requirements :

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Must have a valid A&P and State Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and understand English and the ability to interpret technical data and special operating instructions
• Must be able to lift and move up to 70 pounds
• Must be able to pass background check and pre employment drug screening
• Must be able to climb ladders ranging from 6 to 10 feet tall

Preferred, but not required :

• 2 years of experience- We are open to stellar entry level applicants!
• B737MAX (80HR GENFAM is preferred)
• B767 (80HR GENFAM is preferred)
• B747-400 / -8 (120HR GENFAM is preferred)
• B777 (80HR GENFAM is preferred)

Workplace environment :

• Schedule : Full-Time
• Potential exposure to fumes or airborne particles, toxic chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.
• Occasionally exposed to wet and / or humid conditions and extreme heat.
• The noise level in the work environment is typically loud.
